A wife was in the kitchen trying to whip up a nice breakfast of fried eggs for her husband when suddenly he stormed in like a frantic chef on a cooking competition show.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa! CAREFUL! You’re putting in too many eggs! Where’s the butter? MORE BUTTER! Oh my GOSH, they’re going to stick! TURN THEM! TURN THEM NOW!”
She stared at him, mouth agape. “Is this a cooking emergency or a fire drill?”
“Seriously, we need more butter! But like, where are we going to get more butter?!”
“Um, maybe the grocery store?” she replied, rolling her eyes.
“CAREFUL! You NEVER listen to me when you’re cooking! I mean, you wouldn’t want them to stick, would you?”
“Maybe I’d like to see you try cooking them next time!” she shot back.
“Did you just say ‘next time’? Are you CRAZY? Have you lost your mind? Don’t forget to salt them! You know you always forget to salt them! USE THE SALT! THE SALT!!”
Finally, the wife snapped, “What is wrong with you? You think I don’t know how to fry a couple of eggs?”
He looked at her with a smirk and replied, “I just wanted to show you what it feels like when I’m driving!”
