Adele demonstrated her close bond with her fans when she interrupted her performance to defend a fan ʜᴀʀᴀssᴇᴅ by security. During her concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, fan Juan Pablo Lastra sang along and stood up, but security continually warned him to sit down.
Adele, frustrated by the security’s conduct, halted her performance of “I Drink Wine” to address the problem directly. She yelled from the stage, “What’s going on with that young fan who’s been hassled since I came on for standing up? Why are you bothering him?” She immediately told security to back off, assuring the fan, “They won’t bother you anymore, darling. You enjoy the show.”
Juan, who had been filming the event with a 360-degree camera, caught the entire occurrence. His footage rapidly went viral, gaining international attention. The video, which was uploaded many times on his TikTok account, has received over a million views. Following Adele’s intervention, the security guard immediately backed off, and a senior staff member informed Juan that he was “fine” and did not need to sit down.
The audience erupted in cheers as Adele jumped in to defend Juan. This scene occurred during Adele’s “Weekends With Adele” residency at Caesars Palace, demonstrating her strong connection and attention to her fans.
