Dorothy and Mildred, two best friends in their 90s, lived in the same retirement home and never missed their weekly card game.
One afternoon, Dorothy looked embarrassed and said,
“Please don’t be upset… my memory isn’t what it used to be. I’ve been trying all morning, but I just can’t remember your name. Could you remind me?”
Mildred said nothing.
