1. Understand where she’s coming from
Answer the questions: “Is your wife tired or exhausted from her daily duties?”, “Has she been nagging you a lot due to this?”. You will understand more. Let her vent out the frustration and anger on you, so that she can feel relieved. Venting out is a great way to keep the ongoing fights in check.
2. Don’t lose your temper
Remember, at least one person in the fight has to stay sane and manage accordingly. If you both lose your temper, the fight may never get resolved. You just have to keep in mind that this will be over soon, so bear it just a little bit.
3. Why is she REALLY angry?
If your wife is fighting with you for a very silly reason, chances are high that the silly matter maybe just a way to get the conversation going. There might be a bigger issue at the standstill. Try getting to the root of the issue because unless you understand that, the fight will not be resolved.
4. Communicate
This is the key. If you don’t talk it out with your wife, you both won’t know what the issue is. It’s true, if your wife is angry, let her tell you about her feelings. But then you too shouldn’t hold back. Wait for her to calm down, and then talk about how you feel.
5. Tell her how grateful you are
Bring her gifts, take care of her responsibilities and make her feel welcome. It’s now on you how you can make her feel special. Give her attention and love, and this will automatically calm her down. She will then start focusing on the special treatment you give her.
