Leader of the House of Representatives claims Donald Trump was an F:BI ‘infor:mant’ on Jeffrey Epstein

President Donald Trump was a ‘FBI informant’ in the case of convic:ted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, according to a prominent Republican.

“Trump has been ‘misrepresented’ in the Epstein files controversy and the pressure on the administration to make all the information about the case public,” Mike Johnson said CNN.

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the files were on her desk and awaiting release more than five months ago, but the Department of Justice soon declared that it would not be releasing any further case-related data. No such ‘client list’ exists, the DOJ added.

Later on, though, the Trump administration reversed course and declared that all FBI records, including the grand jury testimony, would be made public.

“It’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion. I can say this, those files were run by the worst scum on Earth,” said Trump.

“They were run by (former FBI director James) Comey, they were run by (former US attorney general Merrick) Garland, they were run by (former president Joe) Biden, and all of the people that actually ran the government.

“Those files were run by these people. They were run by my enemy. If there was anything in there, they would have used them for the election.”

Speaking to CNN, Johnson announced that Trump had been ‘misrepresented’, explaining: “What Trump is referring to is the hoax that the Democrats are using to try to atta:ck him.

“I’ve talked to him about this many times, many times. He is horrified. It’s been misrepresented. He’s not saying that what Epstein did is a hoax. It’s a terrible, unspeakable evil. He believes that himself.

“When he first heard the rumour, he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago. He was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down.”

A news conference featuring Epstein survivors, many of whom had never spoken out in public, was staged last week by GOP Representative Thomas Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna, who are gathering signatures for a measure that would oblige the Trump team to turn over all Epstein information.

The highly classified documents, which included flight logs, jail surveillance footage, court filings, audio recordings, and emails, were made public by the US House Oversight Committee in 33,295 pages.

Democrats, however, contend that there isn’t much new material in the papers that have been made public.

They did not disclose, for instance, a purported “client list,” which the FBI has maintained does not exist.
