White House defends Donald Trump’s decision to ‘give the middle finger’

The White House has defended Donald Trump after he appeared to make an obscene gesture toward a heckler during a visit to a Ford F-150 factory in Michigan.

The incident occurred while the 79-year-old president was touring the facility ahead of a scheduled speech. As Trump walked through the factory floor, a worker began shouting insults at him. In videos shared online, Trump is seen responding by gesturing offensively and mouthing a brief remark.

The White House later described Trump’s reaction as appropriate, stating that he was responding to aggressive and profane behavior from the individual.

The worker involved was later identified as TJ Sabula, an employee at the plant.

He said he believes he is facing consequences for publicly embarrassing the president and has stated that he does not regret his actions. He has since been suspended while the company conducts an internal investigation.

Ford confirmed that it does not tolerate inappropriate behavior in its facilities and follows internal procedures when incidents occur. Meanwhile, the labor union representing the worker defended him, citing freedom of speech and the right of employees to express their views.

The incident sparked strong reactions online, with critics calling the president’s response unprofessional, while others praised the worker for confronting him.
